Skincare is one of those topics that is certainly not a one type fits all sort of topic. Trust me when I say that I have tried A LOT of various skincare products over the years and some worked and some didn't.

After going gluten free and then subsequently grain free after my celiac diagnosis I became more aware of ingredients in general and how they affected my body. This naturally rolled over into my skincare since.

I have learned that my skin loves products that are not only gluten free but also grain free, in particular corn which let me tell you is in so many various beauty products.

Beauty Counter is  company that I have gotten familiar with over the last few months. What I love about this company is their company goals are to work on getting safer ingredients into makeup and skin care products not only in their own personal lines but others as well. They actually are working to change the overall beauty environment to get rid of all of the contaminates and chemicals that are bad for those with sensitivities as well as those things that can cause diseases over time.

I use a few of their products but I am in love with their charcoal cleansing bar.  There are several other products that I love. I encourage you to look not only check out some of my favorites below but also make sure that you are checking the ingredients in whatever you are using.

I also love some products from Primally Pure. Their complexion mist is by far my favorite right now that I use as my toner.

Check out some more of my favorites below!

f you have any questions on any products listed or even something you are using or wanting to try but are not sure if it's gluten free or filled with chemicals, please reach out and I can help you research that product(s).

My name is Sara. I am a proud Army wife and mom of two little girls. I love all things adventure, outdoors, animals and of course food! Being a celiac hasn't slowed me down. It has just made me look at the world a little differently.
